We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager – Fintech to lead software development and digital transformation initiatives, ensuring successful project delivery while maintaining quality, timeline, budget, and stakeholder satisfaction. 

Job Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery from initiation to closure. 
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and delivery plans. 
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to agreed quality standards. 
  • Manage project schedules, dependencies, risks, and resource allocation. 
  • Monitor project health using KPIs, burndown charts, velocity, budget consumption, and delivery metrics. 

Agile Project Management

  • Facilitate Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective ceremonies. 
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Developers, QA, and DevOps teams. 
  • Ensure proper prioritization and grooming of product backlogs. 
  • Track sprint progress and remove blockers to maximize team productivity. 

Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
  • Communicate project status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans effectively. 
  • Facilitate requirement discussions, solution reviews, UAT sessions, and steering committee meetings. 
  • Build strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders. 

Fintech Solution Delivery

  • Manage projects involving Digital Banking, Payment Systems, Wallets, Lending Platforms, CBS Integrations, APIs, and Financial Services Platforms. 
  • Coordinate integration activities with third-party systems, banks, payment gateways, and external vendors. 
  • Ensure compliance with fintech industry standards, security requirements, and regulatory considerations. 

Governance & Process Excellence

  • Contribute to PMO initiatives, delivery governance, and continuous improvement programs. 
  • Establish project management standards, templates, and reporting frameworks. 
  • Maintain project documentation, RAID logs, status reports, and lessons learned. 
  • Support quality management processes including UAT sign-off, release readiness, and project closure. 

Resource & Financial Management

  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, resource utilization, and profitability targets. 
  • Coordinate resource planning with engineering and delivery leaders. 
  • Track project financial performance and provide regular management reporting. 

 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management, with at least 3 years managing fintech or financial technology projects. 
  • Proven experience delivering software development projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies. 
  • Strong understanding of fintech products, digital banking, payment systems, wallets, lending platforms, or financial services solutions. 
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Business teams. 
  • Strong risk management, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, OpenProject, or similar platforms. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills. 
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • MBA or Master's degree is a plus. 
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification. 
  • Scrum certifications such as CSM, PSM, CSPO, or PSPO. 
  • Experience working with international clients and distributed teams. 
  • Familiarity with fintech regulatory frameworks, information security practices, and compliance standards.
