Description

Brain Station 23 is looking for a Data Analyst / Engineer to turn complex business data into clear, decision ready insight for senior stakeholders and SBU leadership. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and applied AI, and is well suited to someone who is equally comfortable writing a SQL query, building a Python pipeline, or prototyping an LLM based agentic workflow. The role also requires close collaboration with teams operating in EST business hours, so a degree of schedule overlaps and flexibility is required.

Job Responsibilities

• Extract, clean, and analyze complex business data using SQL and Python to produce reliable, actionable insight.
• Design, build, and maintain LLM based agentic integrations and workflows that automate analysis and reporting tasks.
• Partner with stakeholders across business units to quickly learn new domains, terminology, and reporting needs.
• Translate raw data into clear, executive ready dashboards, presentations, and data driven recommendations for senior stakeholders and CXOs.
• Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations, using Tableau where applicable.
• Proactively research and evaluate new tools, techniques, and technologies that can improve the team's data and analytics workflows.
• Maintain partial overlap with EST business hours to support cross timezone collaboration, with flexibility to work until approximately 12:00 AM to 1:00 AM Bangladesh time when required.
   

Required qualifications and skills

• Minimum 2 - 4 years of professional hands on experience
• Strong proficiency in MS SQL and Python, with experience building LLM-based agentic integrations and using AI coding agents effectively.
• Hands-on experience with traditional machine learning and time-series algorithms and tools.
• Experience with complex business data, and the eagerness to quickly learn new domains and terminology.
• Experience with production data, application deployment, and debugging.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs.
• Fluency with React or comparable front-end technologies.
• Writes clean, maintainable, well-documented code.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to produce executive-ready presentations and data-driven recommendations for senior stakeholders and C-suite leadership.
• Curious, self-driven, and proactive in adopting new tools and technologies.
• Familiarity with AI voice agents and experience with Tableau are a plus.
• Willingness and flexibility to maintain partial overlap with EST business hours, extending to approximately 12:00 AM to 1:00 AM Bangladesh time when needed.
