Description

We are seeking a talented Engineer with 3 to 7 years of experience to support our expanding application infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices and Java technology, coupled with excellent communication skills. Familiarity with ITIL processes and Enterprise application/platform/infrastructure operations support will be considered a significant advantage.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure Enterprise DevOps solutions.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate and manage infrastructure, deployment, and monitoring processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure system security, performance, and reliability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Work with Java-based applications and ensure their seamless integration into the DevOps environment.
• Adhere to ITIL practices and contribute to continuous process improvements.
• Maintain Operations Knowledgebase, KPI reporting, Incident RCA documents

Skill Requirements:

• 3 to 7 years of DevOps experience.
• Proficient in Java and its application within a DevOps environment.
• Expertise in tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
• Strong knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Quick learner and able to learn new platforms & technologies as needed. Tech stack agnostic, agile and adaptable. 
• Experience with monitoring tools like New Relic, Data dog, Prometheus and Grafana.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Node, Bash.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ITIL certification or working knowledge of ITIL operations.
• DevOps certifications or thorough knowledge

Educational Requirements  

B. Sc./ M. Sc. in Computer Science or Software Engineering from any reputed university/Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
