Description
We are seeking a results-driven Manager, Sales (JavaScript) to join our JavaScript business unit, focusing on modern web, mobile, and enterprise software development solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential clients, managing opportunities through CRM, conducting impactful solution presentations, and driving successful deal closures. You will collaborate with technology partners and internal delivery teams to expand market reach and deliver innovative JavaScript-based solutions to clients across global markets.
This position requires strong communication and consultative selling skills, a solid understanding of software development services, and the ability to translate technical capabilities into tangible business outcomes for clients.
Job Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Research and identify potential clients seeking custom software development, web applications, SaaS platforms, enterprise solutions, and digital transformation services.
- Generate qualified opportunities across startups, SMBs, enterprises, ISVs, and technology-driven organizations.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, partner channels, industry events, and digital outreach.
- Manage and maintain leads in CRM with proper qualification, segmentation, and follow-up tracking.
2. Outreach & Client Engagement
- Conduct outreach through LinkedIn, email campaigns, cold calls, technology communities, conferences, and networking events.
- Engage with inbound inquiries and marketing-generated leads to ensure timely qualification and follow-up.
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers including CTOs, CIOs, Product Managers, Engineering Managers, Founders, and Digital Transformation Leaders.
- Understand client business objectives, technical challenges, and product requirements to identify solution opportunities.
3. Sales Conversion & Solution Selling
- Assess client requirements and recommend appropriate JavaScript-based solutions, including web applications, enterprise platforms, SaaS products, mobile applications, modernization initiatives, and dedicated development teams.
- Conduct solution presentations, capability discussions, and client workshops aligned with business needs.
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle from Lead → Opportunity → Proposal → Negotiation → Deal Closure.
- Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to prepare proposals, estimations, project scopes, and solution recommendations.
- Negotiate commercial terms, close deals, and ensure a smooth transition from sales to project delivery.
4. Partnership & Collaboration
- Collaborate with technology partners, cloud providers, digital agencies, and ecosystem partners to identify joint business opportunities.
- Work closely with engineering, architecture, UI/UX, QA, and delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility and successful execution.
- Support co-marketing initiatives, webinars, events, and partnership programs to strengthen market presence and generate new business opportunities.
- Contribute to account growth strategies and long-term client relationship development.
5. Reporting & Business Growth
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records for all sales activities and opportunities.
- Provide regular reports on pipeline status, revenue forecasts, sales performance, and conversion metrics.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities within the JavaScript and software development ecosystem.
- Gather market intelligence and client feedback to improve service offerings and sales strategies.
- Consistently achieve or exceed assigned revenue, pipeline, and business development targets.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in IT Services Sales, Software Development Sales, Technology Consulting Sales, Digital Transformation Sales, or SaaS Sales.
- Strong understanding of modern JavaScript ecosystems, including React, Next.js, Node.js, Angular, Vue.js, React Native, and related technologies.
- Proven track record of generating pipeline, managing enterprise accounts, and closing software development or technology service engagements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into business-driven technology solutions.
- Experience selling custom software development, dedicated development teams, managed services, staff augmentation, or digital transformation solutions.
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as Odoo, Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or similar tools.
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders.
- Self-driven, proactive, and target-oriented with a strong focus on revenue generation and client relationship management.
Nice to Have
- Experience selling JavaScript-based development services, web applications, SaaS platforms, enterprise software, or mobile applications.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience working with startups, SaaS companies, technology product firms, or enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
- Exposure to Agile development methodologies, DevOps practices, and modern software delivery models.
- Experience responding to RFPs, RFQs, and enterprise procurement processes.
- Understanding of domains such as FinTech, eCommerce, Healthcare, EdTech, Logistics, or Retail Technology.
- Existing network of technology decision-makers, product leaders, and enterprise buyers.
- Experience managing international clients and cross-border software services engagements.
