Description
We are seeking a results-driven Manager, Sales (Cyber Security) to join our Cyber Security business team, focusing on enterprise security solutions and managed security services. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential clients, managing opportunities through CRM, conducting impactful solution presentations, and driving successful deal closures. You will collaborate with technology partners, security vendors, and internal technical teams to expand market reach and deliver business value to clients.
This position requires strong communication and consultative selling skills, a solid understanding of cyber security solutions, and the ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes for enterprise customers.
Job Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Research and identify potential clients across industries including banking, financial services, telecommunications, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and government sectors.
- Generate qualified opportunities for cyber security solutions and services, including managed security services, security assessments, vulnerability management, SOC services, cloud security, and compliance solutions.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, partner channels, industry events, and networking activities.
- Maintain and manage leads in CRM with proper qualification, segmentation, and follow-up tracking.
2. Outreach & Client Engagement
- Conduct outreach through LinkedIn, email campaigns, cold calls, networking events, conferences, and industry forums.
- Engage with inbound inquiries and marketing-generated leads to ensure timely follow-up and qualification.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, including CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, IT Managers, Security Managers, and business stakeholders.
- Understand customer security challenges, business risks, compliance requirements, and strategic objectives.
3. Sales Conversion & Solution Selling
- Assess client security needs and recommend appropriate cyber security solutions and services.
- Conduct solution presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and executive-level discussions aligned with client requirements.
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle from Lead → Opportunity → Proposal → Negotiation → Deal Closure.
- Prepare commercial proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, and solution recommendations in collaboration with technical teams.
- Negotiate commercial terms, close deals, and ensure smooth project handover and customer onboarding.
4. Partnership & Collaboration
- Collaborate with cyber security technology vendors, cloud providers, and strategic partners to identify joint business opportunities.
- Work closely with pre-sales, security consultants, delivery teams, and solution architects to ensure solution feasibility and client satisfaction.
- Support partner-driven campaigns, webinars, events, and co-marketing initiatives to expand market reach.
- Maintain strong relationships with key technology vendors and channel partners.
5. Reporting & Business Growth
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records for all sales activities and opportunities.
- Provide regular pipeline reports, revenue forecasts, sales performance metrics, and market intelligence updates.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging cyber threats, regulatory developments, and competitive activities.
- Gather customer feedback and market insights to support service improvement and business growth strategies.
- Consistently achieve or exceed assigned revenue, pipeline, and business development targets.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in Cyber Security Sales, IT Solution Sales, Enterprise Technology Sales, or B2B Solution Selling.
- Strong understanding of cyber security domains such as Security Operations Center (SOC), Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT), Managed Security Services, Cloud Security, Endpoint Security, Identity & Access Management (IAM), SIEM, EDR/XDR, Network Security, and Compliance Solutions.
- Proven track record of generating pipeline, managing enterprise accounts, and closing high-value technology deals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to understand client security requirements and translate them into business-driven security solutions.
- Experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Odoo, Zoho CRM, or similar systems.
- Strong relationship-building skills with enterprise decision-makers and executive stakeholders.
- Self-driven, proactive, and target-oriented with strong ownership of revenue generation and client success.
Nice to Have
- Experience selling managed security services (MSSP), SOC-as-a-Service, VAPT, cloud security, or compliance solutions.
- Exposure to security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NIST, CIS Controls, GDPR, or local regulatory requirements.
- Experience working with security vendors such as Microsoft Security, Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, Check Point, Tenable, Qualys, Splunk, or similar technologies.
- Existing network within enterprise IT, cyber security, banking, telecom, or government sectors.
- Experience responding to enterprise RFPs, tenders, and procurement processes.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience managing strategic accounts and long-term client relationships.
