Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented FileMaker Pro Developer with a minimum of 2+ years of professional experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing custom database solutions that streamline business workflows and improve operational efficiency. You will work across the full development lifecycle—from schema design to API integrations—while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Custom Development:
  Design and develop scalable relational databases, complex scripts, and advanced calculations using FileMaker Pro.
• UI/UX Design:
  Create intuitive and user-friendly layouts across FileMaker Pro, FileMaker Go, and WebDirect platforms.
• System Integration:
  Integrate FileMaker solutions with external systems using REST APIs, JSON, XML, and SQL.
• Performance Optimization:
  Analyze, debug, and enhance existing systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Requirement Analysis:
  Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into efficient technical workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Claris FileMaker platform.
• Strong expertise in:
  • FileMaker scripting, security, and FileMaker Server
  • WebDirect development and deployment
• Solid understanding of:
  • Relational database design, normalization, and data modeling
  • ExecuteSQL and advanced query handling
• Experience with:
  • REST APIs, JSON, XML, and third-party integrations
  • JavaScript (especially within Web Viewers)
• Familiarity with database synchronization using:
  • MySQL, MS SQL, or PostgreSQL (via ESS)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

• Experience working in enterprise or workflow automation projects
• Understanding of performance tuning and system scalability
