Description
We are looking for a technically sharp, business-savvy Business Analyst to join our Pre-Sales team. This is not a traditional BA role. You will be the person who sits across from a global prospect, quickly understands what is broken in their business, and helps us craft a compelling case for why BS23 is the right partner to fix it. You will work closely with the Business Development team through the full pre-sales cycle - from discovery and analysis to proposal crafting, pitch decks, and client presentations. Your job is to make the prospect feel understood, confident, and ready to say yes.
Job Responsibilities
Business Discovery & Requirement Analysis
- Conduct detailed discovery sessions with prospective clients to understand business operations, workflows, technology landscape, and pain points
- Analyze business challenges and recommend suitable technology-driven solutions aligned with client objectives
- Understand and adapt quickly to various industry domains including retail, pharmaceutical, hospitality, real estate, FMCG, and others
- Gather, document, and structure business and functional requirements for solution planning
Pre-Sales & Solution Consulting
- Support the full pre-sales lifecycle from lead qualification to final proposal and presentation
- Prepare business analysis reports, solution summaries, executive presentations, and client-focused recommendations
- Participate in client meetings, workshops, demos, and solution discussions
- Collaborate with technical teams to define project scope, solution approach, timelines, and effort estimation
- Translate technical capabilities into clear business value propositions for stakeholders
Proposal & Documentation
- Contribute to technical and business proposal preparation with accurate, solution-oriented content
- Prepare feasibility studies, business cases, ROI analysis, and requirement documentation
- Maintain reusable templates, analysis frameworks, and case study repositories for future engagements
- Ensure all documentation is professional, structured, and aligned with client expectations
Client Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with prospective clients through consultative and insightful communication
- Act as a trusted advisor during discussions by providing analytical and strategic guidance
- Ensure a smooth and confidence-inspiring client experience from discovery to onboarding
- Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders to align business requirements with proposed solutions
Skills Required
Professional Experience
- 3 to 4 years of experience in Business Analysis, Pre-Sales, Solution Consulting, or related roles
- Experience working in software companies, IT consultancies, or digital transformation environments
- Experience working with international clients and global projects will be considered a strong advantage
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), APIs, databases, and system architecture
- Ability to understand and evaluate technical proposals, functional specifications, and solution designs
- Comfortable facilitating discussions between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Microsoft Office Suite, and presentation platforms

- Familiarity with digital commerce, hospitality technology, property technology, pharma, or FMCG domains
- Knowledge of content management systems, CRM platforms, or AI-powered automation tools
- Understanding of cybersecurity standards, compliance requirements, and enterprise security concepts
- Experience working with clients from the UK, Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, or the Middle East
- Active participation in professional communities, industry networking, or thought leadership platforms
Educational Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) from a reputed institution
