Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Content Writer to lead and produce top-quality, SEO-optimized content for our service pages, blogs, website assets, and thought leadership materials. The ideal candidate has prior experience in the software, SaaS, or IT services industry, strong technical comprehension, and a strategic understanding of content marketing that drives both rankings and conversions.
Job Responsibilities
1. Content Strategy & Research
- Develop content strategies aligned with SEO and brand goals
- Research topics related to software development, SaaS, AI, web, and digital solutions
- Conduct in-depth research using both manual methods and AI-assisted tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, etc.) to gather insights — but ensure all final writing is 100% manually written
- Collaborate with the SEO team to identify content gaps, build topical clusters, and prioritize opportunities
- Contribute to content calendar planning and editorial scheduling
2. Content Creation & Editing
- Write, edit, and optimize service pages, blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, LinkedIn content, and email copy for clarity, engagement, and SEO
- Maintain a consistent tone and brand voice across all content formats
- Use AI tools only to enhance topic discovery, competitor gap analysis, trend analysis, SERP intent mapping, and factual validation — not for content generation
- Develop content with strong logical structure, narrative flow, and original tone aligned with brand and SEO intent
- Write conversion-focused copy for landing pages, CTAs, and key website sections
- Interview internal subject matter experts — developers, product managers, and leadership — to extract insights and build credible, technical narratives
- Review and guide junior writers to ensure quality, coherence, and consistency
3. Optimization & Reporting
- Use SEO tools (Ahrefs, SurferSEO, or similar) to optimize existing and new content
- Track content performance using analytics and deliver actionable improvement reports
- Share performance insights with the broader marketing team to inform strategy
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience in B2B software or IT content writing
- Strong technical comprehension — ability to write credibly about software development, SaaS products, APIs, and AI without oversimplifying
- Excellent English writing and editing skills
- Deep understanding of SEO content strategy, keyword optimization, and topical authority building
- Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress or similar)
- Familiarity with conversion copywriting principles
- Ability to mentor junior writers and maintain editorial consistency
- Experience interviewing technical stakeholders and translating complex ideas into clear, compelling content
