Brain Station 23 is looking for an Analyst – Payment Gateway Solutions to translate application storyboards and use cases into fully functional applications. The successful candidate will design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code on the Microsoft technology stack, and will help maintain internal and external facing web applications and APIs.

Job Responsibilities

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.\
• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable code using the Microsoft technology stack, and maintain internal and external facing web applications and APIs using C#.
• Integrate data storage solutions, particularly with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
• Assist in maintaining code quality, organisation, and automation.
• Assist with any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the immediate superior.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in software development or a similar role; candidates with more experience will be considered for a senior role.
• Familiar with C#, ASP.NET Framework, SQL Server, and design/architectural patterns (MVC).
• Experience or knowledge of REST APIs, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Bootstrap, JSON, XML, and WordPress is an added advantage.
• Experience with AWS API Gateway, Lambda, and RDS is an added advantage.
• Understanding of fundamental design principles for building scalable applications.
• Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
• Knowledge of the payment industry and e-commerce is an added advantage.
• Able to work in an agile environment with self-discipline and proper time management.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; innovative, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as within a team.
• Bachelor's Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
